Look & feel

Posted on July 1, 2013 by Nic

It’s a new financial year and what better way to celebrate it than to refresh XBOP with a logo and new website background?

Chi RhoThe background is a really awesome backdrop for a blazing Apple logo. You can find the image here: http://it.yoyowall.com/wallpapers/2013/06/Apple-Spazio-1800×2880.jpg.

As I was researching for the write-up of the X-Factor landing page, I found material explaining the Chi-Rho symbol. As a centuries-old icon, it is highly appropriate and ultimately the best expression of the meaning I had hoped to convey — a monogram combining the key elements of Christ into one, while remaining subtle. So, official XBOP documentation now wears the Chi-Rho logo as does the favicon of the site.
