This new Threadless design complements Devotional Day # 26, which is part of the Clayton Church Value-Based Discipleship series, which was launched on Sunday 23 July 2017. View the series index here.
The devotional passage of John 15:1-11 was turned into two Threadless designs. Available in the XBOP Threadless Artist Shop under the collection Discipleship Devotionals, the original design includes a washed-out background as John 15:1 while a second design drops the background to allow the natural/selected apparel colour to blend in with the design (Jesus the True Vine). All colours are available for selection in the first design because of the background enforcing the contrast, whereas for Jesus the True Vine, shades of green have been dropped to avoid mismatching. Also, the sizing for the design in Jesus the True Vine has been enlarged to more fully utilise the space of the t-shirt.
The following picture provides an example of the two designs contrasted – the left being a tri-blend baseball t-shirt and the right being a tri-blend tank top:
