Well, this past weekend was a little different due to XBOP work…

Friday night @ FOCUS

The highlight = meeting two new people – both from interstate – Adel & Perth.
Worship involvement = leading
Worship songs = Come, Now is the Time to Worship; Your Love Is Amazing & How Great is Our God (vocals only, so not planned, but very appropriate)
After FOCUS = supper @ Pancake Parlour, GW
Charitable act = provided transport to the new people – since they both live close by @ Monash Uni…

Saturday morning – XBOP work

Task = procure, install & teach client – new external Maxtor HDD – 1-Touch 3.
Time spent = 9:45 to 10:00am – purchase unit; 10:00 to 10:30am – drive to St Kilda; 10:30am to 12:30pm – with client
Client satisfaction = 8/10

Interesting stories = client was busy photographing Hugh Jackman on Friday (day before)
Interesting connections = client personally knows manager of Guy Sebastian
Relevancy?: exploring the possibility of booking Guy Sebastian for Feb 2007 for AC’s 21st birthday….

Saturday afternoon

Exercise: on the skipping rope for about 30-40min
Continuous skipping count: 44… after about 10-15 earlier attempts
While skipping: noticed certain raised tiles in the paving
Led to: digging up roots from under the side paving
Tiles affected: 14
More gardening: cutting the Greek horta (special type of grass) at the side of the garden
Horta: a whole boxful – can be sold, boiled and eaten!
Other valuable items in garden: the lemon tree – apparently you can buy lemons for like $1 each!!! I’m sitting on a gold mine!
I wish I had a banana tree! (and that’s how the title for this post came about)

Sunday – Gravitate only!

XBOP work: website development work for client
Lunch: with my Dad & The Glen…
Gravitate Topic: Relationships (not BGR stuff!)
Worship: totally awesome! 9/10
Overflow registrations: 46 in total; ~10 that night
Fav moment: @ supper in Springvale – the whole DL hair conversation…

Anyone want to meet up for lunch in the city this week? SMS me!

Nic =)
