My frustration at work comes about because, in talking to the various Finance guys, it becomes apparent that:
1. some things are just way to complex… don’t go there…
2. these guys don’t question, they just do as they’re told – producing various Profit & Loss reports!
3. very little is documented and properly understood in terms of processes
4. at the end of the day, the main driver for the work is “because the Finance Controller (CFO) said so/wants it”
Yesterday (Monday) at the weekly Project Team meeting, we were asked to commit to a 2-month deadline…
Today, it was announced that the deadline had been pushed out by 2 months! From April to June!
How’s that for ya?
I am sooo looking forward to this coming weekend and Church Camp @ Phillip Island… yah!
